Being self righteous

It is possible to be just a little self-righteous and therefore not cause much offense to anyone, people who are too self-righteous may:

Be quick to judge others
Belittle those around them
Be smug
Act condescending
Be narrow-minded
Be intolerant of other people’s faults
Believe that they have the answer for everyone else’s problems
And more...

Meanwhile, self righteous people often have a very hard time being empathetic. They only view the world through their own eyes, and cannot even fathom walking in someone else’s shoes. People who are too self righteous are also too sure of their own opinions. They will stick to them at any cost, and often refuse to hear opposing arguments. They will also never change their opinions based on new information they have received. They also hate to take people's advice.

What often drives excess self righteousness is fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of losing control, fear of realizing you may have been wrong but if you release this fear to tap into your inner ability to let go of negative emotions, you will find that being more open-minded and less judgmental is actually freeing. The method to just shake off the fear and be at peace may also be helpful to your state and well being. To release the need to always be right can make you experience empathy and welcome the thoughts, ideas and opinions of those around you.

Bar advice. No one in the world is right all the time. You're only losing yourself in a world of denial. Anyway, who wants to be around someone like that. Think about it.

Weird Sex Laws

I was on Digg search engine site to submit something online when this topic came up. The lady that wrote about it got it from this source. Bert Christensen's Truth & Humour Collection. In here was some weird sex laws that he might have come across. I'm not sure why he got them but here are some of what's in it.

*Warn your hubby that after lovemaking in Ames, Iowa, he isn't allowed to take more than three gulps of beer while lying in bed with you-or holding you in his arms.

*Bozeman, Montana, has a law that bans all sexual activity between members of the opposite sex in the front yard of a home after sundown-if they're nude. (Apparently, if you wear socks, you're safe from the law!)

*In Cleveland, Ohio women are not allowed to wear patent-leather shoes.
*Clinton, Oklahoma has a law against masturbating while watching two people having sex in a car.
*In Kingsville, Texas there is a law against two pigs having sex on the city's airport property.
*In Nevada sex without a condom is considered illegal.

*An excerpt from brilliant Kentucky state legislation. "No female shall appear in a bathing suit on any highway within this state unless she be escorted by at least two officers or unless she be armed with a club".

*In Michigan, a woman isn't allowed to cut her own hair without her husband's permission.
*In Oxford, Ohio, it's illegal for a woman to strip off her clothing while standing in front of a man's picture.
*In Ventura County, California cats and dogs are not allowed to have sex without a permit.
*The only acceptable sexual position in Washington D.C. is the missionary-style position. Any other sexual position is considered illegal.

*In Willowdale, Oregon no man may curse while having sex with his wife.
*In the state of Washington there is a law against having sex with a virgin under any circumstances. (Including the wedding night).

Here are some international weird sex laws.

In Lebanon, men are legally allowed to have sex with animals, but the animals must be female. Having sexual relations with a male animal is punishable by death. (Like THAT makes sense.)

In Bahrain, a male doctor may legally examine a woman's genitals, but is prohibited from looking directly at them during the examination. He may only see their reflection in a mirror.

Muslims are banned from looking at the genitals of a corpse. This also applies to undertakers; the sex organs of the deceased must be covered with a brick or piece of wood at all times.

The penalty for masturbation in Indonesia is decapitation.

In Hong Kong, a betrayed wife is legally allowed to kill her adulterous husband, but may only do so with her bare hands.!! The husband's lover, on the other hand, may be killed in any manner desired. (Ah! Justice!)

Topless saleswomen are legal in Liverpool, England but only in tropical fish stores. (But of course!)

In Cali, Colombia, a woman may only have sex with her husband, and the first time this happens, her mother must be in the room to witness the act. (Makes one shudder at the thought.)

In Santa Cruz, Bolivia, it is illegal for a man to have sex with a woman and her daughter at the same time.(I presume this was a big enough problem that they had to pass this law?)

Bar advice. These laws, I assume, was formulated by certain "events" that took place and had to be passed. Can you imagine yourself on TV news being brought into jail for any of these.

A girl walks into a bar

A girl walks into a bar and normally the heads of guys turn to see the sway of her walk. The hips, hair, shape, curves and whatever else they imagined for that short seconds it took her to get to a seat.

What were they thinking. Well in their lives they are or aren't in a relationship themselves. Those that approach her are trying their luck. Others just want to see if they still got what it takes even if their married. Some may want to have a "quicky" so they make the attempt as well. Let's just really look at at what a relationship really is. Lot's of people are possibly in one or more of these types of relationships.

Prostitution(pay for sex)
One night stands
Friends with privileges
Dating with casual sex
Lovers only(no commitments)
Arrangements (You take care of me, I'll take care of you)
Multiple Lovers
Swinging
Homosexual
Lesbian
Work/office sex
Affairs(cheating on someone)
Girlfriend/Boyfriend
Living together
Separated
Married
Divorce

Most people think that when they're with someone it's a relationship but the truth is we're all in a relationship with someone. Which category or categories are you in? When you're with someone a relationship is just how you "relate" with that person. Is it casual? Serious? Fooling around? Nothing that will break their heart or be dangerous? Abusive?

A lot of us relate to the word rather than to the true picture of who we relate to in a relationship. All those stated above can still have more added but it already gives you the sense that we may not realize the position we are in and sometimes it's too late. If all is well then you're doing something right but if it's not, what do you do? At times we sabotage what could be good for us.

Bar advice. Most people don't see the problem or cannot relate to people and situations that don't interfere in their lives. Sometimes it's becomes too late.

Giving her adventure, romance and the forbidden....

Guys got to learn that they are not the only ones that have day dreams of doing stuff that's just wacky and out of this world. We all have work to do and our normal daily stuff makes us drift to fantasy land when we want to escape away from it all. However, guys can use this advantage to get the girls.

Women secretly long for romantic rebellion, for a chance to become irrational and uncivilized. Women are dying to be overwhelmed with emotions, to let go of their usual routine. They hunger for something more out of life, something grand, something like the adventure and romance they read about in books as young children.

Deep down women are actually excited and intrigued by guilty, transgressive pleasures. Women are not the sweet, innocent creatures that some men would like to imagine them to be. Like men, they are deeply attracted to the forbidden and the dangerous. Guys get shocked when they hear what some of the ladies are thinking.

The seducer knows that women are waiting for adventure and sexual pleasure. Women never get enough of it from friends and lovers, and they cannot get it by themselves. The seducer knows that women want more illusion, fantasy, play, and forbidden sex. He knows that they want to participate in something rare and thrilling.

You can play on this dream of women by promising a fantasy world of escape and pleasure, by creating the picture inside her head of a fantastic future in which you'll whisk her away to. Sometimes it's just that particular moment like having sex in public and feeling the thrill of almost getting caught. It's an adrenaline rush.

Talk about adventure and travel, and have your apartment a place dedicated to pleasure and play where she feels transported away from the world of work and responsibility.

Do not talk of work, duties, judgments, or reality. Instead, offer the rare thrill of losing herself in the moment, where her five senses come alive and her mind is left behind. If you sell them pleasure and adventure, an escape from their dull reality, women will happily follow you. Learn to add words like a spa message done by you, candlelight, rose petals or even bubbles in your conversation. The power of suggestion is very tempting.

Be that man that promises women that thrilling adventure of pleasure and passion. Be the charismatic that lifts her thoughts up into the clouds. Be the lover who promises them unsurpassed sexual and romantic passion. Be the fire who insinuates the sexually forbidden and the dangerous. Be the natural who has that ease around women that makes them comfortable and want to follow you to the ends of the earth.

Make things happen. Become the kind of man who can whisk the women away on the promise of sexual adventure, fun and pleasure with a strong and thrilling man who can take her away into passion and dreams. You still got to put in the hard work if you want her to melt in your arms.

Bar advice. Women too have feeling and thoughts of all these things. Next time you're in front of a girl and she seems in that daydream state, ask her. If she tries to evade the question, well, you know what to do.

Zodiac job search

Are you bored with work and in need of some inspiration for something a little more out of the ordinary? The four astrological elements (Fire, Earth, Air and Water) can act as a guide to help you discover what unique career opportunities might be right for you!

Recently saw a girl blogging about her zodiac and what she loves to do so I thought I'd post this.

Fire(Aries, Leo and Sagittarius)
Those born under a Fire sign are natural-born leaders. Like a torch, they often light the way. Never ones to shy away from a challenge, Fire signs won't stick around for long if a job becomes dull or monotonous. Looking for a new career path? The best place to start is by reexamining your passions. What thrills and excites you? Make a list and then research related careers. Trailblazing Aries thrives on a challenge and loves winning the game, attractive Leo knows how to put on a show and passionate Sagittarius is up for any adventure. Unique careers include, fire fighter, stunt person, TV anchor, professor, travel guide and ambassador. The world is at your feet!

Earth(Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn)
Earth signs can put their practical nature to use when it comes to career plans. They love creature comforts and are willing to work long and hard for the money to get them. They can make their mark in any organization that values excellent communicators and remarkable organizers. Taurus makes an excellent executive, clear-headed Virgo excels in industry and responsible Capricorn is a regular workhorse. Earth signs might consider running for mayor, taking up rock-climbing, becoming a ballet impresario or learning a few carpentry skills. No matter how big the dreams, Earth signs will stay grounded!

Air (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius)
People ruled by Air love being creative and have a knack for seeing things from multiple perspectives. If you need a career change, make use of these talents. Do a creative career brainstorm by jotting down as many job ideas as you can. Consider the most attractive careers or companies and then imagine yourself in an interview. What would a possible employer feel about your qualifications? How would a client react to your personal style? Gemini is a versatile communicator, fair Libra a truth-seeker and peaceful Aquarius wants to save the world. Interesting careers? Public relations specialist, fund raiser, theatrical agent, interior designer and alternative healer. The world is your oyster!

Water (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces)
It might seem that Water-ruled signs would have the hardest time when it comes to career planning because they are ruled so strongly by emotions. But Water signs are intuitive and artistic, and can think very creatively about their career paths. It's not unusual for people with a strong Water element to have the most unconventional and exciting careers. Sensitive Cancer makes a strong protector, wily Scorpio an excellent manager and dreamy Pisces a fine artist or musician. Unique careers include art critic, midwife, oceanographer, hypnotist and private investigator. Follow your bliss!

Bar advice. Whether you fall under the Fire, Earth, Air or Water element, there is no career that is off-limits to you. The best advice is to match your strongest qualities and interests with careers that require them.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Readers beware. The brilliant, breathtaking conclusion to J.K. Rowling's spellbinding series is not for the faint of heart--such revelations, battles, and betrayals await in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows that no fan will make it to the end unscathed. Luckily, Rowling has prepped loyal readers for the end of her series by doling out increasingly dark and dangerous tales of magic and mystery, shot through with lessons about honor and contempt, love and loss, and right and wrong. Fear not, you will find no spoilers here, to tell the plot would ruin the journey, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is an odyssey the likes of which Rowling's fans have not yet seen, and are not likely to forget. But we would be remiss if we did not offer one small suggestion before you embark on your final adventure with Harry--bring plenty of tissues.

Bar Advice. Sure this is children's books but don't we all want to go back to our childhood sometimes. Just an escape to a world of magic can make us feel so much better.
